BFAPAM Observers

Our Observers have taken further extensive training and an assessment test to qualify as a registered Observer, where they have been assessed against a range of competencies. They have been observed taking out an associate (trainee advanced driver) and doing a lengthy demonstration drive by the local assessor or the IAM RoadSmart regional examiner.

If you are a qualified Advanced Driver and would like to become a qualified registered Local Observer, contact Terry on: chiefobserver@bfapam.org.uk or chairman@bfapam.org.uk You could even call or text him on 07973 144941. If you would like a chat about what is involved and if he isn’t driving he will gladly talk to you about the process.
