On Sunday, May 5th 2019, BFAPAM spent the day at Jubilee Gardens in Cleveleys, promoting IAM RoadSmart. The event was held by Blackpool Vehicle Preservation Group (BVPG). It was a busy day and we were thrilled to have rather a lot of interest from people of all ages, from young drivers right through to pensioners, with some people wanting to tell us about their driving experience and how long they have been driving. We enjoy talking to all of our visitors and occasionally find a few that say they are the best drivers and IAM won’t be able to teach me anything. That is until we give them a Free Taster Session! Then they realise that a full IAM RoadSmart driving course would be as useful for them as it is for everyone else.

The Spring Car Show at the Jubilee Gardens this year was a new location for the BVPG and the turnout on the day was wonderful. All of us at BFAPAM look forward to similar future events. You can find out where the group will be by visiting our Events page.
The event is just one of three held by the BVPG throughout 2019 and along with classic cars, you can see other modes of transport from classic bikes to retro prams, ranging from the 20’s to the 90’s.
